Services

I offer a range of services to meet the needs of people facing the end of life and their families in the comfort of their home or in my office.

Nursing Visits

Facing a serious illness and/or the end of life is difficult.  As an experienced Hospice Nurse, I can help by answering questions; explaining what to expect; teaching how to care for a loved one; organizing medications, treatments and supplies; coordinating care with other medical professionals; providing emotional support; making connections with community resources and more.

Care Management

For families living at a distance, coordinating and supervising a loved one's care can become frustrating and time consuming.  I can help by checking in on your loved one; providing support and education to live in caregivers; accompanying your loved one to doctor's appointments and reporting back, and more. I can also visit with your loved one in a nursing home or assisted living facility, providing additional support to both you and your loved one.

Private Duty Nursing

I can provide personalized, highly skilled care for those facing complex medical needs at home. This can be especially helpful when caregivers need some time for themselves and want the reassurance of having a professional caring for their loved one.

Vigil Sitting

The final hours of life can be difficult to face alone.  I can accompany family and friends as their loved one leaves this life by providing a comforting presence; and by providing physical, emotional and spiritual support. I can also assist family and friends, if desired, to lovingly care for the body of the deceased.

Holistic Therapies

Holistic therapies can provide healing and comfort to both families and loved ones. Massage, Reiki, guided imagery and meditation, Kabbalistic Healing, and spiritual support  are available. You can learn more about Massage and other holistic therapies on DaoCloud: The Social Network for Wellness.
